Found a Rem. 700 SS SPS sporter barrel in .204 Ruger and topped it off with a Buckmaster 4.5x14. What's your favorite factory load and and hand load recommendation. Going to shoot it Saturday with Hornaday VMAX 32 gr.. I'll let you know how it goes!

Good luck, for the critters I would try the 40 gr v-max it has better cofficent balistics even better than the .223/5.56.

I don't use factory loads but I do use 32 gn V-max in my Ruger #1 in 204.

Shot several coyotes, never shot one twice. The 204 works. I like the velocity of the 32 grainers.

Wow do I like the .204, accurate with the 32 gr vmax and I'm plannng to try it on coyotes this weekend.
