Project complete!

Two Cree Q5s, forward barrel mount modified so it will still fold.
red lion front sight and muzzle comp, and replaced all the phillips with hex buttons.

The lighting alone could be considered a weapon, 600 lumens total, will turn a dark warehouse into daylight. They cannot shoot me if they cannot even look in the general direction. Not comfortable even with welding goggles on...

I would have preferred black lights, but I got such a deal on the silver ones, could not resist.

This is my under the bed gun, and I still swear this is my favorite.

what are you using to mount the lights??

The lights are mounted on two of these, generic flashlight mounts.

The barrel mount is one of these, I had to cut the rail off the top with a hacksaw, flattened it with a file / sandpaper, pained black. It would not close otherwise.

I planned on maybe putting a laser on the third rail under, however I believe it would be overkill, the thing is just dead accurate at any range I would use it using the peep and the new front site (Red lion) from here http://www.redlionprecision.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=R7, comp is the adapter for when you pull off the factory sight, can do it with or without, it really helps here though.

Screws came as a kit, apparently I am not the only one that thought they should be changed. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280901301687&ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:US:3160

Between the comp and the additional weight of the gear, it just stays pretty level shot to shot.

Looks like something out of star wars from the front, unless it is on then it only looks like a star...

how do you turn them both on at the same time?

It looks like a crossbow!

Right now with the buttons on the back, peace sign and a push, really a lot easier than it looks.

I am considering wring them both to a pressure switch in the fore end. It has a piece that comes out for a factory single rail to mount under it, perfect size for a recessed switch. It would balance power between the two units as well so they have consistent output.

And Bill, let me get some of these other toys paid off, and you and I need to talk...

I have quite a few bladed toys, the nicest of which is a Benchmade infidel, have considered a one of a kind, nice work.

I have read the discussions here and elsewhere concerning how "Tactical" can a flashlight be and if it makes you more or less likely to be a target?

I can tell you this much, these are not the D cell maglites that you used to carry when you started the force.

I tried it today, and even with my shades on, I cannot look at it, or make out any shape holding it. With a welding mask, all I see is a bright circle about 3 feet wide.

My cell phone camera freaks over it at the length of my hallway. Hence the colors.

Wish I could post video here, video shows it better because it shows how fast it gets that way and really how little light comes around the corner before me.

Phone cannot handle it and it changes colors everywhere.
