This old gun needs a good cleaning and I can't figure out how to take it apart, even to plug it, thanks in advance for any help.

I don't know if this shotgun is on their website (it's in their catalog), but check http://www.gunpartscorp.com They are the same shotgun as the High standard 200 series. I own 2 JC riot guns myself & bought a set of the Gun Digest series of books on firearms assembly/disassembly (6 vols covers most guns) & they are well worth the money.

The site you recommened did have every part you might need for any gun, but it didn't have a manual to show how to take it apart. Where could I pick-up that gun digest, does it have my gun in it?

Any good size Gun shop might carry them or could order them. Also try Barnes & Noble or Waldenbooks. Your JC Higgins M20 (JC Higgins is the Sears store Brand made by High Standard) is basically a High Standard Flight King, which is covered in the book.

Harley, you are the king. Thank you sooo much, this is perfect, the pics came out great, everything came through. Once again thanks to you and manny1, this site was by far the most informative and fastest out there, I will be recommending and using it again.
Thanks,
PAT CARUSO
