I recently setup a Savage 12 BVSS in 22-250. I know that all rifles of the same make do not always act the same but I wouldn't think they would be too far off. I zero'ed the scope with Hornady 55gr V-max's. They seem to shoot pretty good but if there is better...Before I go spend $100+ on multiple ammos I figured I would get some input from you guys. What is your setup and it's perferred ammo?

My Remington 700 liked 55 grain Nosler Trophy Grade Ballistic Tip Varmint Spitzer.
They are rated at 3700 fps and the average of 6 groups was 0.542 inches at 100 yards.

It also shot Hornady SuperFormance SST 55 grain ammo pretty well. They were rated at 3650 fps and averaged 0.630 inches at 100 yards.

None of the factory ammo I tried came close to the accuracy I am getting from 55 grain Berger #22410 bullets behind Reloader 15 powder.
The best load with Bergers averages 0.360 at 100 yards @ 3600 fps at a C.O.L of 2.355.
Next best at a different depth with the same bullet and powder averaged 0.418.

My Savge Model 12FVSS shoots very well using inexpensive Wincheter white box 45 grain.
