Wow! Hawg. That is a nice horn. Those don't come cheap if you can find one that really works. Does this fellow do them all the time and dose he sell them? Looks like that would be easyer to deal with than carring a brass flask around.

Shotput it works and is air tight. It has a brass filler plug and a spring loaded valve. He has made a few(three I think) and given them away. He started on this one in Nov. and I just got it a few days ago. I don't want to put his contact info here and have him inundated but I'll PM you and you can ask him yourself.

Hawg Haggen: Oh I'm sorry H/H my intention was not to have you buy a horn. But only to have you take a look at someone using a bison horn for an accoutrement.:o Is that true you actually have 3? Oh my!! Now I know why I had to pay such a dear cost for my first one!!! (national shortage:rolleyes:) Anyway your scrimshawed horn is pretty darn good Sir.:) You should post just how one goes about making one? staining and tools needed to accomplish such a task. That is something I personally would like to read. :)

Go back and read my first post. I didn't make it.:D Bison horns are fairly small. Might make good day horns.

Ah, yes, more than one. I admit to having been rather fortunate attending auctions over the years. But I only have one horn, and I've never taken a picture of it for a very good reason. Don't run into decent horns at auctions very often, and when you do there's always some damn collector who knows what it's worth and has just had a birthday or anniversary or sold an oil well or something.:(
