In this video we'll give a little background on the CZ52, which was one of the mystery weapons of the Cold War. Then we'll take you through the disassembly and reassembly procedure.

After that we'll take a trip to the range and shoot the pistol at an Evil Roy steel target from Action Target Systems.

This is really a fun gun to shoot!

Nice video. Thanks!

The CZ 52 is an unadulterated blast to shoot. The trigger is not good, the sights are paleolithic, and the ergonomics are pretty terrible, but man do I love shooting that gun. Despite these encumbrances, it's not hard to shoot the gun quite accurately after just a bit of practice.

The 52 has about the best noise/blast-to-recoil ratio of any handgun I've fired. It doesn't bite much, but boy does the 7.62x25mm Tokarev round bark. It's loud, and it throws a nice ball of fire.
