Hi all,
I love my Glock 19 for its size above everything. I am curious if other companies have similar options that I could check out, not to replace my Glock but just for an alternative. My key requirements are: 4 inch barrel, 9mm, striker fire, and most importantly the ability to have three fingers on the grip. If I have to go with pinky extensions okay but I would prefer not to. As a reference my pinky sits right in the bottom finger groove of the Glock 19.

How about the S&W M&P9c? It meets all your requirements except for the 4" bbl (it has a 3.5" bbl). Can be had w/or w/o ambi thumb safety (get it with as it's easy to remove if not wanted but you can't add one if it didn't have one to begin with) plus it has 3 interchangeable backstraps for custom fitting. Add an APEX striker block/sear (or their full DAEK kit) for a superb trigger and night sights & you're gtg. I have big hands and can get all 3 fingers around the grip w/the pinky extension (bottom of pic).

The Pearcegrip product only replaces the magazine floorplate will not add any significant size or weight to to your Glock. It also matches the factory finish. it looks like it came from the factory that way.

I can get all three fingers on my Kahr K9, and I have pretty large hands.

There's really a plethora of options out there that match the general size of the G-19 - Here are four striker fired options that I prefer to the Glock:

Caracal C
Steyr S9-A1
Walther P-99
Walther PPQ

Each one has redeeming and unique qualities that any gun connoisseur should appreciate.

FNX9 and CZ P07 come to mind off the top of my head as excellent firearms that fit your criteria.

Since you already carry one 9mm Glock, why not carry two? Just carry the 26 and you're good to go. Personally though, I'd add either a p3at, lcp, or the lcr to that system! It gives me options, I like options.

Your mileage may vary.

My Glock 19 is only a 2.5 finger grip for me. My pinky sits on the front of the magazine base.

I love my Kahr CW9 because my pinkie isn't dangling there wishing it had something to grip. I wouldn't want to go much smaller.

Hmm, you have me very interested with the Walther P99. Will have to give that and the FNX 9 a look.

Yep - the P99 is a sweet pistol. The FNX however is NOT a striker fired pistol. Neither is the CZ P07 - (perhaps plouffedaddy didn't read your requirement for a striker fired pistol)

Walther PPS or P99c. You will need a pinky rest on the mag bottom to fit your hand properly on the P99c. The larger 7 round mag for the PPS works just fine.
