View Full Version : SIG P220 Compact....

Just rented the P220 Compact and I'm sold...umm maybe. I still need to rent the M&P .40c, P239 and maybe another SA XDM .40c. The Sig felt great in my hands, accurate, and recoil was minimal. Fired off 100 rounds. I'm still waiting for my CPL to arrive:confused:

So many choices really makes for a tough decision!!!!

p220C is a great pistol. I just got mine. My son has a P239, smaller pistol, smaller caliber, easier to conceal. I weigh 200 lbs, he weighs 160, and that is the difference.

I don't envy you on your choice, lol! I have a P245 (precursor to the P220 Compact) and it just OOZES quality and craftsmanship. On the other hand, I also have an M&P40 (full size) and it also feels very well-made, with the benefits of fitting my hand better and giving me 15+1 rounds of 40cal on tap, though it is also somewhat larger and a bit more difficult to conceal. My P245 shoots significantly below POA - likely due to aftermarket sights that were on it when I got it. The M&P seems dead-on. Best luck with your decision!
