Do they make any timers that start automatically on your first shot to see how fast you are shooting? Kinda hard to hold stopwatch in hand while shooting or synching with other person.

Looking at Ed McGivern, 5 shots in about .4 seconds?

Yes, all the timers I have dealt with have a REVIEW. That is they pickup the time on each shot. From the buzzer you can REVIEW how long it took you to get off shot #1, shot #2, etc.

Thanks Ned. Do you know how far past the decimal they go. And any brands that are good quality and portable, also must be able to be operated by my less than Einstein friends.

The Pact Club Timer is the one I use. It's small and simple (just right for me) and it has all the functions I could ever want. Clips to your belt or pocket, use the delay start, hit the button and wait for the beep. It keeps the time to the second decimal and will review splits and total time for every shot fired. Mine cost about $125 when our club bought several on a special promotion.
