Got to shoot off some blanks a week ago, and when trying to clean the gun, three of the nipples would not come out. Nipple wrench seemed a little on the light side and started to slip.
So is there some liquid wrench solvent I can use.

Tom, I have a few very old C&B pistols/rifles/shotguns, family type stuff, to avoid ruining the old nipples and etc., I visited with the SnapOn Tool man, the one who drives around in the truck. We found a socket that fit "almost" perfectly, notice I said "almost", but it worked much better than the nipple wrenches you can buy. Kroil (used to be sold by Ray's Sporting Goods in Dallas) also Acetone, work wonders on stuck stuff. Works for me. ;)

PB Blaster....
It is like penetrating oil on steriods. You can get it from a car parts store like Autozone or Advance.
Another gent on this forum suggested heating the cylinder up in the oven. I can't remember who it was but the process according to him is foolproof and very effective.
Maybe he will wade in.

Find a socket that fits the nipple (5mm deep well, perhaps, or better yet the ratcheting nipple wrench (http://www.possibleshop.com/s-s-nipple-wrench.html) from The Possible Shop) and throw away the nipple wrench; it won't help you.
Then using the socket, try, in the following order:
1) Kroil, soaked overnight or longer
2) Kroil as above with heat
3) a 50/50 mixture of acetone and automatic transmission fluid
4) the 50/50 acetone/ATF mixture with heat
5) the following screw extractor kit from Brownell's: MicroGrabit kit (http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/sid=16943/pid=0/sku/MicroGrabit_Kit)
