Anybody tried any of these out yet?

Are the quality of the pre-shut down ones?

I would expect the quality of a Leupold Rifleman.

They were only released for sale about 2 weeks ago. Probably won't get a lot of user feedback on the Leupold-made Redfields for a while. I don't know why Leupold waited until after hunting season to release the scopes.

Mead Instruments (maker of Simmons until last year) bought the name a few years ago and made scopes with the Refield name, but they were pretty much ignored. Some of the optics websites have been selling the older Mead Instruments/Simmons-made Redfield scopes now that someone is advertising Redfields again. Don't get stung!

Everything you want to know is on the website.

I don't have any experience with the Leupold rifleman line... but I did just recently purchase a new redfield...

Any explanation as to what you would expect from the rifleman line, particularly as far as durability?

Never have seen one yet--BUT--

Its now made by Leupold at a very affordable price---I would expect decent performance and that Leupold will take care of you if you have any problems.
