Thinking of getting a howa 25-06 or 7mm-08 or may be both. I have a 308 and 223 and they are tack drivers. My question is if I got one in just the barrelled action, what are my options for stocks. The two I have are Hogue over-molded stocks. Not pretty, but effective. What decent wood stocks are there out there for these actions? Thanks in advance.

Very sharp! I don't own a Boyd's but there a lot of people that do and they tend to say good things about them.

However, I have bought a Richards Micofit and I DO NOT recommend them. Others may have had a better experience, but mine was a nightmare. The product was good, but the experience was horrible.

I've been looking for a new stock for my Howa 1500 as well and have decided on a Boyd also. I read quite a bit of good things about them on here and a other forums so I figure I'll give them a try. I own't be able to order till the 1st but I'll post pics when I do.
