hello friends,
im 16 i have been a nra member since i have been 8 lol. i am now 16 and i have owned many guns just never a shotgun. and i bought my first 12 gauge 2 days ago... with my own money:rolleyes:.
but i like it it was a used mossburg mavrick 88. when i got it it was all rusty but i spent two days and all night cleaning it! now it looks new i had to re blue the barrel though:eek:.

so i was wondering what are the best on gun shell holders.

i really want a side mount but a stock mount is fine
thanks!!!

Cheapest option would be an Uncle Mikes Stock Sleave (http://www.google.com/products?q=uncle+mikes+shell+hoder&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=5AxNS8qfHJHplAea0siODQ&sa=X&oi=product_result_group&ct=title&resnum=3&ved=0CB0QrQQwAg). I picked one up for my shotgun and one for a rifle for about 8-10$ each. I don't really care for on-gun carry, though, and they need to be cut to accomodate some slings, depending on mount. They are easy, one-size-fits-most nylon fixes, though.

I don't really know of any other on-gun mounts, I'm afraid. If you don't mind on-person holders, Comp Tac (http://www.comp-tac.com/product_info.php?products_id=86) has some nice shotgun shell holders for the belt. I was looking to get one for skeet, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
