Hey guys,

Another question. What AR-15 M4 is the BEST in your opinion? I am looking to buy one and have fired one for the military 10 plus years. After buying, I'm looking to buy a .50 beowulf upper. Any suggestions on the best lower to use with the BEO? Thanks guys. If you have any pics, please attach.

Noveske, LaRue, Colt, BCM, Daniel Defense, LMT.....
Why not buy a one of these
and then the uppers of your choice?

This is the golden age of the AR15 right now. There are so many great choices out there now, it is hard to go wrong. Just five years ago, it would have been impossible/ridiculously expensive to get some of the features that are now routinely offered on AR15s.

Custom built M4's are excellent pieces and at the top. But there are so many choices right now.

my choice is Rock Rivers DEA model. There is a reason why the top LE organizations are replacing their colts with Rock River's. For the money you can get so much better than a colt.

Since you specifically asked about the best LOWER, I will say almost anything except the usual suspects. The lower is much less important (selection-wise) and variable than the upper. If you shop for lower parts kits (LPK) from even the best shops they are almost always DPMS kits.

I have built up lowers with Double Star, Rock river arms and DPMS stripped lowers using LPKs from DPMS, RRA and CMMG. I added uppers from LMT and RRA to these lowers and they all shoot great. I have not had one problem with any lower or LPK.

I think you will find it pretty hard to get a lower from LMT or some of the other high end makers unless you buy used from a private sale. Not sure what the lower availability is these days, but DPMS, RRA, DS, LaRue, Bravo Company, or any of a dozen others are good to go for LOWERS. Even Colt makes a small pin lower though I am not sure where you can buy it separately.

The upper and BCG is where you get into all the options and variances in fit and finish, IME. If you are gettting the .50 Beowulf upper than you have limited options as to the brand anyway. you may want to get a lower of the same brand as the upper just for uniformity, or get one which you like the logo for.
