I picked one up for the boys to shoot and it won't cycle more than two rounds at a time. I tried standard and high velociety rounds with no change.
Stripped and cleaned it, still same results.
Thanks

Make sure that the magazine is loaded properly and check that the extractor is in the right place.

Dumb ? Tiny, what do you mean by magazine loaded right?
On the cycle one round is partially fed in chamber and the empty gets crushed by the bolt on the way out.
Thanks again

I bought an Mp-22 S&W for my daughter for Christmas...bought it at a gun show a couple of months ago. It is going back to the gun show tomorrow with me and I am going to find the man I bought it from. Brand new gun and it is jamming!!

Others have posted some issues with their M&P 15-22 rifles over on
Smith-Wessonforum.com
Some have called S&W and got a free label to send their their rifles back. From what I've read, they come back functioning properly.

The ammo in the magazine needs to be staggered. if you pull the follower back and dump rounds past the feed lips, it probably won't be right. If the rounds aren't staggerer left-right-left, then you can get feeding issues.

Thanks Tiny, on the S&W forum a guy put a youtube link up on bending the ejector. After bending and loading the clip the proper way everything is fine.
Here is the link, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wO76HC9tD4g
thanks

Yep, the ejector needs to be bent toward the port about 1/16" and all is good. Takes a whole 30 seconds to do.
