Using iron sights, what range do you typically sight your AR in for? If say 100 yards, do you sight it to shoot a bit high...2, 3 inches? Dead on?

HI,
Do a web search on "Revised Improved battle Zero" written for the A2 sights. Once set, and by counting elevation clicks, you can know where you are at 25, 50, 100, 200, 300, and 400 yards. after which the difference between yards and meters is too great. I had a lot of confusion setting up my first AR-15 because the sights are so far above the bore.
Best,
Rob

I sight mine in about 1" high at 100 yards and it's in the kill zone from about 50 yards out to around 300 yards.

We sight in all of our rifles at 50 yards. It puts the bullet no higher than about 1" at 100yds and back on at about 150yards.

I also use the IBZ and RIBZ, it would be crazy not to if you have A2/A4 sights with the elevation wheel.
