I am planning on getting a 9mm suppressor for my Glock 19C (threaded barrel coming). I have the compensated model, which means there are two cutout sections on the top of the slide, obviously, while the suppressed, threaded barrel will not be compensated, but I was wondering if the holes in the top of the slide might diminish some of the benefits of the suppressor.

Anyone know if this would be the case? How much, if any, noise might escape through the top of the slide?

since suppressed rifle barrels have no slide ad do ot have a problem related to sound escaping I believe you will not.

Someone will be a long shortly who actually knows though.

If you are replacing the barrel, everything should be fine. Since there is no hole between the chamber and suppressor for the gases to escape from, you should be fine.
