View Full Version : I don't know what it is about the Condor Outback.....

........but I want one........

I have no real need for one, other than I think it's a neat concept and would make a handy Truck/Trunk/Travel gun.

Every time I see one in a gun store I just have to fondle it.

I've got 3 870's, an 11-87, a Mossberg 500 and 835, a Remington 31, and an H&R break action. I can't really say I NEED another shotgun, but danged if I don't want one of these for some reason. Not looking for a skeet/trap/dove gun here. More a knocking about the woods for squirrels/deer gun. Maybe turkey (though I've got that well covered with other guns in the safe).

For those who aren't familiar........Stoeger Condor Outback (http://www.stoegerindustries.com/firearms/stoeger_condor_outback.php) 20" barrel O/U. Rudimentary rifle sights on top (non adjustable :(). I'd of course want it in 12 ga.

Anyone have any direct experience with these? The Good, the Bad, The Ugly?

I've handled the Outback in stores and done some wingshooting with my father in law's Stoeger Condor I O/U. That's about as close as I've come to this one.

What say you folks?

They are pretty toys. They will not outshoot the collection you already have.
