Hi Guys,
I had an odd thing happen with my 1187. The choke cracked and broke and slightly bulged the end of the barrel. I know the choke would come loose often when duck hunting and I had to constantly check and tighten it, a real drag. My son used it one day and it did not get checked and I am assuming this is what happened. First trouble I have ever had with a Remington.
Anyway this is a camo barrel and I cannot for the life of me find a replacement that is camo. Anyone know where I can get one?

A gunsmith could shorten the barrel a couple of inches and rethread it for tubes. Would be a lot cheaper than finding a new barrel. You may have to settle for a blue barrel otherwise.

+1 on the shortening recommendation.

Yep the problem is this is already only a 26 inch barrel, I don't like the idea of having it even shorter, I may have to buy a regular barrel.
