I make a few different conicals:

320gr. .512 Lee R.E.A.L. Bullet
220gr. .456 Lee Conical for my Pietta NMA Revolver w/ 5.5" barrel.
200gr. .450 Lee Conical for 2 of my other .44 cal. C&B Revolvers.
405gr. .459 Lyman RNFP for my 45-70.
200gr. .429 Lyman RNFP for my grandad's .44-40 Colt.

My lube for all is a 50/50 mix of Bees Wax & Crisco, pan lubed.

The only conicals I cast now are .58 minie balls. One is a 460 gr. and the other is a 478 gr. I do cast 200 gr. bullets I shoot bp with in my 44-40's. I lube everything with beeswax and crisco including the smokeless stuff. I've got some 50. cal molds but upgraded to a .54 with round balls so I don't use them anymore.

I cast slugs from Lee molds for my '58 Rem and ROA.
I also cast REAL slugs for my .50 cal.
I use a 60-40 beeswax /lanolin mix melted and stirred as lube for all. I dip the warmed up slugs in the liquid mix and set on pie tin to cool. it works out fine.

I cast the Lyman Plains Bullet for my .54. It weighs about 460 grains from pure lead. I lube it with SPG. Over 120 grains of FFg in my old T/C Hawken, it approaches 1500 fps. Pretty darn deadly hunting load.

I cast a 525 grain 50 caliber conical from the RCBS adjustable HotchKiss mold. These bulets are devastating. I had a good friend that replaced a bunch of church windows, and he gave me several buckets of the lead trim they use for stain glassed windows. It is suppose to be a very high grade of pure lead. i do not know that for a fact, but it is what he said. I renamed the lead to "Holy Lead". So now I have "Holy Lead Conicals". How can you beat that. I have religious bullets.

In my MK-85 I load 120 grains of 3F BlackPowder. This load is brutal on the shoulder. I do not recommend this load to anybody. However this load is devastating on deer and elk. The elk just go sick when you put one of these in his boiler room.

This may also sound silly, but in my MK-85 I load them dry.

I am going to work up a new load with this bullet in my new Knight LRH. I want to make it a slip fit style so I will be sizing and lubing these bullets, however I have not decided on a lube yet. This is a summer project. Tom.
