Hey folks-
I just joined TFL for the sole purpose of finding out a little information on my Stevens 20 gauge side by side shotgun. But I think I will stick around because I'm really enjoying some of the threads....at any rate, the description is as follows;

-Stevens 20 gauge double barrel side by side.
-Old -It was grandpa's gun (He's been dead 36 years and he was 70)
-No serial numbers.
-26" barrel
-On the right side it has STEVENS stamped in this font.
-On the underneath side of the barrels(when broken open) on the left hand side it is stamped with 1 S V
-Same thing is stamped on the frame.
-On the underneath side of the gun close to the front stock (desc.?) a small 11 is stamped with a circle around it (approximately 1/8" in diameter)

The firing pin does not work on the right side and I was wondering where to get replacement parts or a manual on how to repair the thing. Thanks in advance to anyone who may have some information for me.
Cheers!

I had something similar, but it was a 12ga. A stevens 311. Mine had no serial number either, just a "date code" made up of letters that dated my gun to the early 1950's. I think chances are, thats what you have :)

If your gun looks like the one attached parts are normally available.

SEARCH
gun parts or numerich arms

The gun shown is a Stevens model 311

Hope this helps
