Howdah Pistol

Does anyone else out there have a Howdah Pistol? I just got a Cabela's Pedersoli 20x20 Howdah and it is just FUN!!!!!!

This thing is just ment for the back of a horse. I have had so much fun shooting it from the back of my running quarter horse at balloons and other targets.

I had the great fortune of chasing a couple Jack rabbits accross the MT prairie with it on my horse the other day, although I didn't get one(shooting PRB's) it sure was interesting.:D:D

Actually the Howdah was from the back of an elephant when hunting tiger. The Howdah was the last ditch effort when the tiger was clawing his way up the side of the elephant wanting you for lunch.

I've had mine a short while. Fired some 35gr, .570 patched round ball. Just got the makings for some shot loads. Sure is fun to shoot.
