View Full Version : Stupid Question

OK...I didn't go to Harvard or anything, but I'd like to think that I'm not a complete idiot. I've been trying to get the 'search' function to work for several days now, and it seems that no matter what topic I'm looking for, I get directed to threads that are almost exclusively from 1999 and 2000. Occasionally some newer ones scattered about, but 99% of the hits are from the same 2 years. What gives? 'Aged' is fine for scotch, but I like my info a bit more current.
I have tried changing all the parameters under 'advanced search' and it doesn't seem to matter what I do. Is there a 'secret handshake' ?

You're not going crazy! I just did a search, and the freshest hit was over 3-years old. Something's messed up at the moment!

I cain't help with your dilema, but I CAN say with a profuse amount of certainty that no honest question is a stupid question.

They're working on the Search feature. Should be fixed shortly.
Re stupid questions, they're stupid only when they do not get asked.

Huh...I was just using the search function and I hadnt noticed the age of the result threads. I did notice that most were not relavant to what I was searching for. Thanks for the heads up.
