Hi: Several days ago I purchased a box of grips scribbled on the side it said HIGH STANDARD GRIPS. There are 2 sets of target grips like these, I think I have the other pair figured out? But this set has me puzzled? They are wood and appear to be of high quality, the only markings are the #60 stamped on each half. Anyone have an ideas? Possibly they are not HIGH STANDARD?
THANKS BOB

Quite likely, they ARE High Standard; over the years, they made at least 50 or 60 different 22 pistols, and those look like they might fit the Sport King or one of the Supermatic frames.

I guess the SPORTKING is possible, the SUPERMATICS I have seen have the bottom of the grip notched out?

Colt Woodsman, 2nd Series 1947-1955.
Made with side button magazine catch like 1911 those years only.

Someone else suggested the Woodsman, and said they may be by SANDERSON? I can't find any info on that name. thanks BOB

Sanderson (and 2nd generation Woodsman) kind of predates the internet. Search on the S&W board, there is some discussion there of Sanderson grips along with Ropers, etc.
