Just got back from the shoot. Beautiful day for full autos. If you have never made it to one you should check it out.

Join the Army and get some on hand experience in Iraq. It is quite an experience to fire the automatics. I had the pleasure to fire the helicopter mounted crew served gatlin gun on a daily/nightly basis during the Vietnam conflict. Similar guns are fired on the site below.

The shoot is usually held twice a year: once in the fall and once in the spring. I'm fortunate enough to live about 1 1/2 hours away from it so I've been a couple time. You can rent a full-auto there but it's spendy. The only time I ever rented one was a M1928 Thompson and is was $55 for 50 rounds:eek:. If memory serves, it was $75 for 25 rounds from a M2 and $200 for the flamethrower.

And was just up the road stuck in the woods on a training exercise without live ammo & cars to shoot. :(
