I recently purchased a Model 1865 Spencer Carbine (SN 314XX). The magazine is missing and I plan to replace it. The S & S Firearms Cataloge lists groved end and smooth end cap options.
Can anyone tell me which cap is correct for my carbine?
I also need a front sight blade, which I couldn't find in the S & S Cataloge. Does anyone have a suggestion of where I might find one.
