What are the differences in the Beretta 390 and 391?
Is one more reliable?
Weight?
Stock/ Fit?
I can get a 390 for around $450 but a new 391 is over $1k.
Usage = skeet/trap/sporting clays and a little quail/dove hunting.

I have an older 390 Silver Mallard with the wood stock. Very dependable gun and has never had so much as a hiccup for me. One of the guys I shoot with has a 391. I have shot his gun and didn't like the feel of the forend as it is very small to me. Other than possibly a different receiver profile and a somewhat diferent gas system, either should suit your needs.
The $550 difference would make up my mind on which one to get.

I think I paid around $450 for mine, but that was probably 15 years ago.
Unless that is the Wal Mart kind of 390??
