I have always been at odds with my desicsion for a HD shotgun, so 1 month ago I picked up a Maverick 88, 18.5" It is/was agreat gun, but really felt cheap(and the saftey was HARD to disengage). I knew it would work for it's intended purpose, but I am greedy, and I wanted more.
So, I got more...a customized 870 express magnum.

Well, about 6mos ago(maybe longer) I had posted my mig welder and torch combo, on the boards for trade. Really wanted a handgun, or an HD shotty.
About 2 weeks ago I was contacted by a guy in AR (about 400miles away) asked me if I would be interested in his Remingto 870 police magnum.

Well, I made the drive today and picked it up. Here are the details.
- 870 Police magnum
- Choate stock
- Surefire front end with light ,with momentary switch
- 1 Tac-star side saddle holster on reciever
- 1 Tac-star on stock
- Vang comp mag extension
- Vang comp sling swivels (front and rear)
- Vang comp tuned( lengthened forcing cone, worked over internals/barrel, and patterned)
- Vang dome saftey
- Flex-tab installed
- Williams appeature sight
- Tritium front sight

This was the guys personal patrol gun that he never shot anymore. He was interested in my welding stuff. I had $380 invested in the torches, and recieved the mig welder in a labor trade.

Couldn't hardly believe it! Who says dreams don't come true.
Only thing I want to do is have everything re-parkerized, or duracoated in a no slip/no glare setup.

Just pulled the shell carrier. It says Express Magnum, not Police Magnum....does it matter?

Yes, there are no plastic parts in the 870P trigger group. I'm not sure but the 870E may not have a flexi tab either.

This has the flexi-tab upgrade.

I pulled the trigger group, and the only plastic I see is the trigger guard.

I believe the owner upgraded this entire gun....which is great for me:D
