Hi guys...I'm new to this forum so sorry if this post is misplaced under the wrong heading. I have an early HS Model 10 Series A Police shotgun purchased from a retired Miami/Dade Co. FL Sheriff's detective several years ago. It's in perfect mechanical condition except I need a replacement search light switch. I checked Numrich/Gun Parts with no luck. Anyone out there have one or have any suggestions?

Good luck. There werent too many 10-A's or B's manufactured, and parts were scarce 20 years ago.
Does the switch look like it's a pre-manufactured item (i.e.- not made by Hi Standard)? You might be able to find one if thats the case. Did corrosion get to yours?

You might want to actually contact Gun Parts. Often they have parts that aren't listed as available on the web site.
I'd also look into altering some other type of switch to work.

Thanks for the reply guys. The part is actually a molded plastic ring that encircles the light housing at the front just behind the light head. It actually still works, it's just broken at the bottom where it butts against a stop lug molded on the housing that actually controls the on/off positions. I actually contacted GPC directly a couple of times and asked them to add the part to an order I was placing with them anyway but still no luck. Just thought someone might have one in the 'parts bin' somewhere and I could get lucky posting here. Should be grateful I guess; the gun works great and other than the light inadvertently coming on and off during recoil because of the broken switch everything's fine. If one of you does happen across one one day I'd really appreciate it if you let me know. Thanks again Guys!!
