I have a W.R. Leeson 12 ga double gun. My gun is marked with Ashford Kent and from the history I have read on Leeson, this would date the gun between 1878 and 1899. My gun's serial number is 714. Based on that, what year(s) might it have been made? I am guessing that gun production was no more than a few per week, but have no real idea. Any help would be apprecitated!

I doubt they made 100 guns per year. using serial number data from other comparable makers of that era, very few of the lesser known makers made many more than that.. While Leeson made some very high quality guns, he was not a known maker..JFC
