Quail

Anyone else having a hard time finding the quail this year in AZ? Been hunting out by Buckeye, Whittman, area and thinking about heading over by the Fountain Hills area to see if its just this side of the valley this year. Used dogs and without but no decent sized covies yet :(

I haven't gone quail hunting , yet. I saw several modest coveys of Gambel's on the C.R.I.T. reservation while dove hunting. I usually go after Mearns Quail in December/January down by Patagonia/Nogales...
