I am about to purchase a remington nylon 66.

the dealer i am buying it off claims that he can't fit any more than 10 rounds in it.

i have read everywhere on the net that the gun holds 15 rounds.

why would he not be able to fit more than 10 rounds in the gun?

i would appreciate any help before i purchase a lemon

thank you

My reference shows the 66 to have a 14 round capacity. With out having the firearm in my hot little hands I can't answer your question. Perhaps instead of a Model 66 you are looking at a Model 12 or 77?

Well, I do have one in my hot little hands and the magazine holds 14 rounds. I suppose with some difficulty, you could load one in the chamber for a 15-round capacity, but that gun wasn't meant to be loaded that way.

If he can only get ten in, it could be the magazine inner tube is dented, so check that before purchasing.
