Today I went down the creek with my bow. I saw a doe bedded down on the bank. I stalked within bow range. Just as soon as I ranged her she saw me and stood up. I nocked an arrow and drew back. I placed my pin behind the shoulder and touched my release. The rage broadhead did its job. She laid down within sight. I gutted her out. She smelled like she was rotting. She was abnormally thin, bedded down in water, and her chest was raw from laying down so much. I left her there. I was afraid she had something. We have had blue tounge going around alot latly.
