Has anyone fired or handled the new G21SF? The article I read on it said it felt similar to the G22.

Handled one yesterday... it feels bigger than a G22. I could see if someone had larger hands that it may feel close, but I with my average paws noticed a difference right away.

It does still have plenty room in the backstrap to have robar, Bowie tactical, or cylinder & Slide to do a slimming job on it for you.

I wonder if there will be a G20SF. One can only dream...

:) I own two G-21's. I've handled, but not shot, several G-21SF's. Frankly the difference in the grip is miniscule. If you're able to perceive a change in recoil more power to you - I doubt that I could. The G-22's frame is definitely smaller; suggest you beware of what you read in, 'gunzines'.

I have a 21SF. For me, the grip made it fit my hands where a standard 21 didn't. It could be smaller, but it's small enough that it works well for me. The gun shoots and operates like a dream.

As for a G20SF... buy the 21SF, and install KKM 10mm bbl and LWD stainless guide rod. = 20SF. I plan on doing this in the near future.

I have big hands but short fingers.

The 21SF I held felt no different than my 21.

Hoax, for me.

^ Same here. The 20/21 is a handful. My fingertips just barely touch. I want to do a side-by-side with the 21 and 21sf and see for myself

I also noticed the 1913 rail on the SF at gandermountain. most of the reading on it said it would be put into production with a weaver rail. I guess the they changed their minds.

I was at the range shooting mine today. I wear a medium size glove and I feel the gun fits my hand well. It is a big gun but you get what you pay for. 13+1 rounds of 45ACP with "0" malfunctions (so far).

When I saw the Glock 21 in a magazine, I had very high hopes. At my first opportunity, I went to the closest distributor. They have every Glock made except the 18 and the .380 version. I have a small hand and it fit "OK" but not great. You can tell a little difference between the Glock 17, 22 and the 21SF. The 21 SF is still "fatter." I would be interested in test firing one. Years ago I tried out the 21, but could not shoot it well because it was a little too big for my hand. Now my SIG P220 is a whole different story.:)

The above is my gun and it is perfect for smaller hands and gives you the .45 power. Gap is as powerful as acp, just shorter casing but tweaked to keep power range equivalent. Yeah, ammo is pricey but the gun and feel are worth it. Ask at a store, feels great from word "go". Highly accurate as well, without punishing recoil, easy carry - all in a full size gun. A "must try". Feels like a 9mm gun.
