"Waiting, is the hardest part" - Tom Petty

While I count down my 10 days I was looking for a good lighting system. Something not obscene price wise, super special batteries are a negative to me. What would you SigArms owners suggest?

Thats a good price,or maybe I paid too much for new one:(
First thing I did was get houge grips and allen head screws.:D
To the subject:
Well the only prob I see with the cheaper units are they tend to be bulky and require tools for install.
Plus also you have to factor in that the gun wont fit in a,lets say an uncle mikes size 5, holster with a tac light.
I don't have one on mine just for the reasons above.
I would try to find one that is small and uses no to tools to install/remove.

If you find one let me know and I'll be in line also.

There is the Surefire X200. They made more but discontinued them.

Insight has quite a few.

And then there is the Streamlight TLR-1 and TLR-2.

Maybe consider a Surefire Z2 combat light with lanyard. I do not have flashlights attached to any of my pistols, but my Z2 is everywhere I might need a gun. This particular light is very thin in the middle, and with the rubber resistance ring, you can hold it and shoot strong hand supported very easily and very effectively. It takes a little practice and getting used to, but the neat thing about it is once you have it down, it will work with any handgun you own.

Take a look at the Brinkman Maxfire at Walmart. Its about $20.00. I was so impressed with them that I bought three. They are every bit as good as the higher priced ones.

It was a tough call because I really wanted a two tone but I could only find a certified black on black. I just couldn't justify the $300+ for a stainless slide .. almost though haha. Any suggestions on a holster that would accommodate a P220 with a slim light?

I just bought a CPO 220 on 8/24 for $525.00+tax. Can't wait to take it out, it should be as good as any of my other Sigs(228,225,230) though.

Ditto on the excellent Brinkman Xenon light from Wal-Mart, and absolute ditto on not attaching a light to your excellent pistol. My only dislikes of the 220 are the long first trigger pull, paucity of magazine capacity and high bore axis. It is an accurate, well-made pistol.

The police trade-ins are $475 here, but they seem to have a lot of holster wear, and are the blued model.

There's lots of police trade-ins here 'cause SIG is here. :)
