Does anyone have any comments on the Bushmaster Carbon 15 - R 21?

I'm considering buying a used one at $600...

It is a .223 and it has a 16" SS barrel with compensator/suppressor and it is ultralight at 4 pounds dry.

I've had one Bushmaster; it was great for the purpose. Match target, 9.5 pounds, 1/2 MOA all day long.

But I'm a long-barrel guy. Generally, I don't like rifles with barrels below at least 18" or 19"; I prefer the longer ones for the higher velocity available. But, I'm mostly an open-country hunter.

I've had a Carbon 15 M4 for about two years now. I carry it on-duty (LEO Rangemaster) and haven't had any problems. I shoot it once a month, and during qualifications there's always one of my officers who tries it out.

I've got an OKO red-dot optic and a flashlight mini rail on the front post. Other than that the gun is stock and runs great. Lightweight and accurate. We shoot ball ammo, 55 and 62 grains, and for 'duty' Federal 55 grain BTHP.

No problem recommending it.

Thank you fellas...

BTW my primary purpose is "Bunny Bustin'"...

But I like the idea of easy handling in small spaces...

Hideability... and, of course, drive by shootings... Nah!

Just kiddin' :D:D

Since I won't be shooting this one at any great distances...
I think I'll go ahead and get it...

Thanks again for the input... :)
