Gentleman.....I just wanted to post some pics of some 100yds groups I printed with my beloved Remington 700 Varmint Special .308. I am well pleased to say the least in the performance. She will print groups like this all day using 150-168gr sierra bullets with Reloder 15 powder. No modifications was done to my rifle other than a trigger adjustment and barrel break in procedures......she's all just pure factory......
Very Proud of it.......

We have some shooting 'matches' in my area where we shoot groundhog targets from 200ys out to 500yds. My 308 should be just the ticket...now...it's just up to me....

These are 4 shot groups. I was load testings....using 155 sierra Palma Match bullets......using 3 different charges of reloder15 powder

Never tried the reloader 15 powder before, may have to look into it. Have you have used Hogsdon's Varget powder? I get very consistent groups from my little New England Firearms Singleshot .308 and am looking forward to shooting from my new CZ 550 later this month. Maybe worth trying for you as well, though I don't know how much you can really improve on <.5 MOA like you are shooting now.

No...only other powder I used was BLC(2).....had very good sucess with it also......I highly recommend giving the reloder powder a try....

A fellow at the rifle range was telling me while testing his loads using the reloder....the velocity reading on his chrony was way more consistant using the reloder powder........

"Mmmmmmm....Alliant Powder....mmmm.." what would be quoted by Homer Simpson if he's an avid reloader.

Sure like your gun.

The more impressive part is that it groups that well with such a wide range of load density.
