I just found that CTD (cheaper than dirt) is carrying 30rd magazines for the ciener .22lr conversion kits. They are plastic and look like the Ruger 10/22 mags from Eagle. Has anyone seen these first hand or, better yet, tried them out? They are $30 each and I'd love to buy 3 of them but I want to know if they feed reliably. Anyone have any experiences yet?

No experience ...yet. A good friend of mine bought a few of the BlackDog mags and said they ran great for him. I just sent out an order today for 20 of them and a dedicated 22 barrel from Kuehl Precision Firearms. I used to have about 16 of the steel mags and they would only run well if loaded to about 20-25rds - the BlackDog mags are supposedly much better (and definitely less expensive).

i have 4 ,they work fine. it's great fun to shoot the 22 long's (fed bulk pack) impact in or on the edge's of a one inch square at 25 yards. almost the same point of impact of 556 rounds using a aimpoint. my conversion does not like the remington round that are recommended for use in it but it loves the fed. bulk pack rounds.

I couldn't wait, I ordered 3 today. I have some of the 10rd-ers but it just isn't natural only shooting 10rds per mag out of my AR. :D

Range Report to follow shortly
