I just purchased an older Marlin 336 that needs some work. It's from 1957-1958, and I'm looking for an owners manual.

Marlin's website says their on-line versions will be available "soon"... though I wonder how long this message has been posted on their site.

I can write Marlin for a copy, however I figured I'd ask if anyone knows of an on-line resource somewhere that has Marlin owner's manual documentation available. I suppose I'm mainly looking for complete disassembly and reassembly instructions.

This will be a fun project this summer. I'll quickly find out if I've bitten off more than I can chew.

Thanks.

Bryan

I bought a used Marlin last year didn't come with box or manual. I emailed & asked how much they charged for them, about 2 weeks later I recieved them in the mail free of charge.

Thats what I call customer support.

That URL didn't work for me. I think it should be:

Harley -- Thank you very much, the pictures came through fine.

Also, thanks again to everyone else for sending along information.

Wish me luck!......maybe in a couple months (I'm slow) I'll post pictures of the before and after transformation... unless I'm too embarrassed! :o ;)
