wondering about a production date on a old Ithaca my mother acquired several years back. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but I can't find a serial number on this gun anywhere. It is a Ithaca hammerless side by side, and on the rib of the barrel it has Nitro Powder steel. If anyone has a idea of when this gun was in production I would be grateful. I can't find info anywhere on the Ithaca site.
