Is it possible to increase the trigger reach on a Kahr MK40? Is a trigger shoe an option? Is there any way to make
the backstrap deeper to accomplish this? Any advice would be most appreciated.

BigJon, I've never tried a trigger shoe on one of these. If you can't find one that fits you can easily make one for it. George

Thanks for the tip! Could you give me some very general information on making one? I mean, do you start out with one designed for a shotgun, of which I notice there are a few in Brownell's, or what?

IMHO, I would be hesitant to put a trigger shoe on a carry gun. Know Murphy's law, a trigger show adds one more thing that could possible go wrong when the gun is needed most.

BJ, I answered under the rifle forum.

Faiello - I agree. That's why I am interested in knowing how the process is done. I would think that a deeper grip, which increases the depth of the backstrap, might be a better way to go. I just don't know where to find such an animal.
