I am in need of an exploded diagram of the S&W 645 pistol. Anyone know where I might find one?

I'm not sure if S&W made one specifically for the 645. Remember that the 645 functionally is very much like the 4506 or any modern S&W pistol. Drop into a gunshop and ask to see the manual on several S&W pistols. The diagram is virtually the same and S&W didn't spend a whole lot of money to draw different diagrams when one standard one would do. (If you want to see an old old diagram, look at the Mini14. Ruger still uses the Series 180 diagram with the external bolt stop).

There are differences between the 645 & 4506. The backstrap is a major one as the 4506 discarded the metal 645 backstrap in favor of the one piece plastic grip.

Call up S&W and ask them or their Armorer School to send you a poster.

DMSC, go to www.gunsites.com (http://www.gunsites.com) Paul's got some exploded views there. You should find a few S&Ws I would think. If not, e-mail me and I'll scan one and send it to you. George

George, He has some S&W diagrams, but the 645 isn't one of them. That's just the way my luck runs! http://216.199.9.84/NonCGI/smile.gif

If you could scan one for me, I'd appreciate it very much!
