Hi,
Fired my NEW Buck Mark Std. yesterday for the first time...right out of the box.
Got 2-2 1/2 in pattern basically....but that pattern was 5 inches low and 5 inches to the right of aim at 30-32 feet.... That is astonishing to me. Is this usual to have a factory setup to be so 'out' of allignment?

Every factory sights in their guns at different ranges.
I doubt any use 30 feet.

It's not unusual to find a fixed sight gun that's off for you.
Remember, you hold the gun differently, "see" the sights differently, and work the trigger differently than the factory man did.

What I'd suggest is first, buying some different brands and types of ammo and trying them to see if you can get tighter groups, and groups more on target.

If you can't, either move the rear sight, or send the gun back to the factory.
Be SURE to send a test target with the gun, so they can see exactly how it's shooting for you.
