Any suggestions for a super blackhawk 7 1/2" barrell with a 2x eer scope mounted to the barrel? It is to be used for hunting.

Uncle Mikes has some decent ones,I bought one last week,a shoulder holster for a scoped handgun, its not leather so it is quiet in the woods and comfortable to wear also.Just go to unclemikes.com and see if you can find what your looking for,if you do,check other web sites for cheaper prices.

KDR,
If you are handy with leather and tools, you can make your own holster. I have made several including a shoulder holster for my 6.5" barreled S&W M629 Classic with Leupold 2X EER scope. Check out Tandy leather stores or website for booklets, info. I use brown paper (grocery) bag to wrap around pistol and cut/trim until it becomes my pattern. Be sure to mark Inside and Outside surfaces before using it for layout on leather. After cutting leather and lacing/sewing holster, wrap pistol in Saran wrap, thoroughly dampen leather, insert pistol, and wet fit holster to pistol. My holsters won't put Lou Alessi out of business but they have gotten many compliments and THEY DO THE JOB WELL.
Good shooting and be safe.

For the same gun and scope (M8 2x EER) I use this one. Bianchi 4101 Ranger Hush (http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=815131) They'v got a lefty too. Theres also a flap to cover it in the rain,#8 near the bottom of the page. It could be worn on your belt but I don't think you'd want to. :) Its quiet, comfortable and holds the gun securely, doesn't flop around at all.

I haven't tried them but saw them at a local show. They have some under "Bandito"
