Bought a used 12 gauge Mossberg 500 with 2 barrels just to do a little bird hunting and of course I had to try it out and shoot a little trap to like get use to shooting at moving flying type stuff and now I'm hooked and shooting trap twice a week and now I think it might be time to start reloading for shotgun and I was wondering what reccomendations if any would there be for reloaders.I've looked at the MEC and the Lee and I wondered do I really need to pay 2 or 3 hundred for a MEC or will the Lee do the job?

The Lee has lots of fans. It's slow though. A single stage MEC runs about $100 new, lasts longer than we will and makes good ammo at a decent rate. A box on my 600 JR takes about 8 minutes.
Nobody saves money reloading, though we all say we do. We do get more ammo for the same money.

Agreed Dave - ya got more ammo, ya got more trigger time! (Budgets don't change just becasue you found a way to stretch 'em.)
I like my Mec Loader Jr. though I have yet to break the 8 min/box barrier! :p

Most of mine are bought at a government run range in Prince George's County, MD. Prices are similar to mail order stuff. Since this place doesn't have to turn a profit, just not lose money, stuff goes for near zero markup.
If I couldn't do this, I'd buy in bulk from BP,Midway, etc.
