how does one actually shorten the trigger pull on a sig-sauer p226. i have a new all stainless 40 S&W and the trigger pull is too long in both single and double action.

You may want to install a short trigger. Check www.sigforums.com for more info. Removing and reinstalling a trigger on a Sig pistol is a job for a gunmsmith/armorer.

That was a good one there DT GUY. Seriously though, the Sigs seem to be very good firearms. I would suggest taking it to a smith and let him take care of this for you.

Seriously, I wouldn't hesitate to trust a SIG, based on reputation and the ones I've handled.

I just have never made friends with ANY crunchenticker.


I hear Langdon could do WONDERS with a SIG's trigger-I've dry-fired one he did, and it certainly was much better than stock. Too bad he stopped....
