Do you think the Henry 22mag is as good as the Winchester 94/22mag? Is the Winchester worth another 150-200 bucks more? I was looking at both of them today and they looked almost identical and the barrel lengths looked the same also. Not sure if the winchester is worth the exrtra $$ Any suggestions

IIRC, the Winchester was discontinued this year.

The Winchester is all steel & walnut, the Henry is a mix of steel, alloy, and walnut.
The jury's still out on longterm durability on the Henrys, the Winchester is a proven quantity.
The Winchester has been discontinued, but they're still around, and worth more money than the Henrys.

Just picked up a 9422 last week. The fit and finish is top notch, a real tight
gun. The gun is a shooter too. I am not disappointed. Better grab one while
you can, as they are being discontinued. Who knows, maybe they will be
worth alot of money someday.

No

At least that,,probably more.

Henry is to Winchester as Kia is to Honda...

I have a Henry Golden Boy and Winchester 9422 Trapper, both in .22 LR.

There is no comparison. The Winchester is worth the extra money and you should buy one quick if you want one.
