Does anybody know of a good 10-round detachable box magazine for the 700 long-action? I am building a rifle from an ADL action going into a BDL stock and have to buy a floorplate assembly anyway. HS Precision makes a kit, but only has a 4-shot for the long action. I saw a Quick-Clip (or something like that) but it is alumnium, and I want a steel one. Any advice on this or a good standard steel floorplate is appreciated.

If you want a 10 round mag you'll have to go with the AICS.

I use the Kwik Clip that you mentioned. It has been an absolute pleasure. Yes it is aluminum, but then, so is the Remington floorplate that it replaced. You can order the Kwik Clip online, through Cabelas. The price is about $75.00 for the assembly, complete with 5 round mag. Adding the 10 round mag is $29.95 IIRC.
