H&K SL-8

I was at a gun show today and saw some brand new H&K sl-8's.
Anybody know anything about them?
Price was $1500-1800. Depending on which table you went to.
They have a real nice feel to them.

Use the search function. There have been a few discussions on them. I believe that they were in the rifle forum though. (The SL8 is a semi-auto PC version of the G36).

It is indeed the civilised version of the HK36. Unlike the HK91/93/94 family, the HK36 is more conventional and is not a roller locked delayed blowback firearm. It is so civilised, that even the Germans who hold permits are allowed to own this firearmn (where no military lookalikes permitted).
