OK here goes, I have a couple Enfield "Jungle Carbines" one original and one FAKE.
The question is where do I find Stripper Clips for my .303s?
It realy suks to carry loose ammo in the pockets, it'd probably be nice to have a couple of clips in there. :)

Watch at gunshows for .303 brittish in bandoleers. I picked up a couple bandoleers and the ammo was in stripper clips. .303 stripperclips are great by the way, very well made when compared to say todays M-16 stripper clips.

Here's two sources, Numrich and Marstar. I got mine from Numrich; no experience with Marstar.

There is some surplus ammo on stripper clips at gunshows but it depends on how it was stored. The clips are steel with usually a gray or black phospate finish. The bandoliers can attract moisture if the ammo was stored unsealed over the years. I got one bandolier of ammo just for the clips. But some of the clips had rust on them and I had to wire brush it off. The old 1950's ammo is corrosive and had some fine oxidation on the cases from the moisture. But it was just as cheap as the empty clips in another box, so I got some authentic ammo and a bandolier for same money. If you get some real old 303 ammo, take a round apart, carefully, and you can see what cordite looks like as compared to regular powder. Long thin yellowish strands that are stuffed in the case and hard to remove. Neat stuff.

Got some from Marstar, they were unused.

I bought a pile from this guy and I'm 90% sure he is still selling them. I don't think you will find a better deal, and I can vouch for the service & quality.
